Ellis Lilley is multidisciplinary artist working mostly on figurative painting and sculpture. His training has been rooted traditional art with a focus on drawing and large scaled figuratuve pieces. Having studied from old masters he feels this gives him the structure and confidence to explore the world of contemporary painting.

His paintings currently explore movement and rhythm of figures in relation to each other. Often combining the figures with abstract elements gives his work a playful element whilst still holding a strong sense of composition.
